Tulsa Hidden Hate

Magazine cover, spread & Poster Series

With the New York Time cover, article and poster series for Hidden Hate collection, I wanted to show a more personal angle and focus on the human interaction within the massacre. By using scale to emphasize the power of the white supremist or a coffin highlight to show that just because you are surrounded by US Marshals it does not mean they are safe from evil. I was inspired by the Dada movement, especially Hannah Hooch, because I strongly related to their mission and style of you using old photographs and news articles in a chaotic collage style to invoke a gritty, hard hitting message.
